Fraud and impersonation warning
Criminals may copy a brand, logo or employee name to obtain money or personal information. Verify before you respond.
Why this notice exists
Online impersonation can create convincing websites, advertisements, profiles and messages. Capital Asverix publishes this notice so users know how to check contact and report suspected misuse.
We cannot identify every clone immediately. A familiar name or copied logo does not establish legitimacy, regulation or a relationship with us.
Cloned companies and websites
If a site or person uses our name without authorization, do not provide personal information, install remote-access software or send money. Preserve the web address, sender details and screenshots, then report them to [email protected].
Common warning signs
- A promise of guaranteed profit or risk-free trading.
- Pressure to pay immediately or keep the opportunity secret.
- A request for passwords, one-time codes or recovery keys.
- A demand for tax, insurance or a “release fee” before withdrawal.
- Contact from a look-alike domain or personal messaging account.
How to verify contact
Type https://capital-asverix.ca directly into the browser and use the contact information published there. Check the complete sender address. If a caller provides a number, end the call and request confirmation through the official email.
If you may have been affected
Contact your bank or payment provider immediately, secure email and financial accounts, preserve evidence and report the incident to the appropriate Canadian anti-fraud and law-enforcement channels. Speed can improve the chance of limiting additional loss.
Capital Asverix regrets harm caused by impersonators but cannot control transactions conducted with unaffiliated criminals. Each case is assessed on its facts and applicable law.
